About this app

The Roll20 Companion App is everything a player needs at game time! Keep your characters at your fingertips at home, the game store, or wherever your adventures take you. Access your 5E character sheet from your mobile device and get your character’s info at-a-glance including your armor class, feats, and inventory.

View your character’s stats and skills during your game session, including your spell DC and proficiencies. Track inspiration, spell slots, hit points, ki points, and sorcery points. Ready to roll for initiative or make an ability check? Let us do the math for you. Dice rolls made in the app are also sent to the Roll20 VTT chat, powered by our signature quantum roll server.

Need to look up a rule or description? Use our powerful 5E SRD compendium search to find exactly what you need. From being grappled to magic missile, Roll20 has you covered.

Characters must be created and edited on the Roll20 website and be in an active game to appear in the Companion App. You can also leave feedback for bugs and improvements straight from your mobile device.

Let’s roll!

Missing fundamental components. Allows for rolling your abilities but that's about it. Better hope you don't need to look up any of the features of your skills, details of inventory items or anything like that, cause half the fields don't expand properly, and all the formatting from the text boxes is lost so everything is mushed together. I'd gladly donate some money or time to getting developer attention to their app, it needs a lot of work.

You can see your character sheet and that's it. Can't see the chat log, can't look at npc sheets, and can't see the map. The character sheet layout is bad as well, combining parts of the sheet that are on separate tabs on the desktop site. Text boxes on the sheets don't save whatever formatting you had on the desktop site either. A lot to work on before this is more than a janky character sheet viewer, that's trying desperately to be useful. EDIT: I haven't been able to log in since September

The design of this app is sub par. It's better to sign in on browser and pop out sheet. That works way better. I was hoping you guys would eventually address this. Every player in my games that has tried to use it says it's pretty much unusable because it doesn't give the same access to things you would get on a computer. I hope it gets an update someday because not everyone has a laptop. Or wants to bring one to game.
